From June 22, communal spaces such as showers and kitchens will be available to visitors.
Sean Goggin of Echuca Discovery Parks said it was another much needed boost for the tourism sector.
“It was a good piece of news and we're looking forward to welcoming our site holders back,” he said.
“The restrictions in NSW have been eased for a while now so it's good there will be more of a balance between the two states.
“People are embracing the chance to get out and explore regional areas after isolation which is really exciting.”
Sean said Discovery Parks had also received strong interest in the lead up to the Victorian school holidays which start on June 27.
“It looks like we will be busy,” he said.
“Even though communal facilities still won't be available for use, we've had a strong number of enquiries.
“Hopefully these people then go and spend their money at local businesses to help stimulate the economy.”
Bernard Maple of Riverlander Caravan Park agreed with the thoughts of his competitor.
“The changes are another way of helping everyone get back track and it's another step towards normality,” he said.
“It means we will be able to welcome back more of our annual visitors, who don't have their own toilets and showers on their sites.
“We will also be able to attract more people to the park.”
