Moama Anglican Grammar students ditch delays as border opens

Principal Carmel Spry was happy with the announcement on Wednesday, November 4.

“We welcome the news. It will certainly make things easier for our students, their families and the staff,” she said.

Ms Spry said the bus system the school introduced at the beginning of Term 3 would no longer be needed once the check point was removed.

“We have been running buses each morning and night since the border restrictions were implemented, so this will be no longer necessary,” she said.

“We introduced the bus to assist families, and it also had the added benefit of reducing traffic on the bridge.”
