In My Blood It Runs is a documentary that follows Dujuan, a 10-year-old Arrernte/Garrwa boy, as he navigates the challenges of growing up Aboriginal in Australia.
The film explores themes of identity, education, and First Nations cultural survival.
The screening is an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect on our shared histories, and learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
The evening will include light refreshments at the Benalla Visitor Information Centre, from 6pm, followed by an acknowledgment of country and special introduction from Aunty Cheryl Cooper at 6.30pm.
The film will be screened immediately after.
