Students, staff, families, board members and community partners gathered in the school’s new multi-purpose stadium to reflect on the journey of the school since its establishment in 2005.
Board chair Jane Millar described the occasion as a special occasion in the life of the school, reflecting on the original public meeting held in May 2004 when community members first explored the possibility of establishing a secondary school in Moama.

The assembly was also a chance to recognise the contribution of Dr Sydney Paul, who wrapped up nine years of service on the school board, including three years as chair and leadership of the building committee during the development of the new stadium.
Following the formal service, students took part in the annual Foundation Day games, with house spirit and community pride on full display throughout the celebrations.
The event highlighted the school’s strong foundations and its continued commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for future generations of students.
