Bunnaloo Rural Fire Brigade was called to the fire at 6.15pm, with four firefighters spending about 30 minutes battling the blaze.
‘‘By the time the crew got on scene, the tractor was fully alight,’’ RFS Mid-Murray Zone district officer Phillip Brunsdon said.
‘‘The crew contained the fire just to the tractor which was completely destroyed."
Mr Brunsdon said the tractor was stationary using a PTO auger to fill the nearby silos.
‘‘We’re thinking at this stage it was an electrical fault given the age of the tractor,’’ he said.
No-one was hurt in the fire.
