Tom Evans was Echuca’s senior football recipient.
Evans appeared 14 times for the Murray Bombers this year.
He was regularly among the side’s best in disposals and showed his quality on grand final day.
Evans accumulated 22 touches, laid six tackles and kicked a goal in the 81-point thrashing of Shepparton Bears.
The defender also debuted for Carlton’s VFL side in March, ending the season with four goals in three games for the Blues.
Ashlea Hare won the A-grade netball award after an excellent year.
Along with her best-and-fairest, Ashlea Hare was only four votes off first for the GVL’s Wellman Family Medal.
The goal defence played every game as Echuca conceded the least goals of any side in the home-and-away season.
Hare’s impact was highlighted in the Wellman Family Medal count — the league-wide best-and-fairest — where she placed equal-fourth.
At Moama, there was little surprise as Tobias Thoolen and Eesha Clarke won the coveted accolades.

They were the only Mowers named in the Murray League’s two teams of the year, while centre Clarke was runner-up for the competition’s best-and-fairest.
Thoolen had another consistent season in the ruck, named in Moama’s best 11 times in 15 appearances.
