The Magpies were crowned the club champions, with the award given based on the performance of each of the club’s senior and junior teams combined.
Moama president Matt Lake said receiving the prize was a great moment for the club.
“I think it is a huge achievement. As president, it makes you pretty proud that the club has achieved that,” Lake said.
“It is across the board — from coaches, players, committee members and volunteers, it is a team effort, that is for sure.
“We have had a great year and this is something to show for it, which is really important.”
The Magpies had 10 of their 11 teams make the finals, including six sides that will take part in Saturday’s grand finals.
Lake said that achievement, alongside the Murray League’s club champion prize, are great indicators of where the club is at.
“It definitely shows we are nice and strong, from our under-11s up, it is across the board,” he said.
“We have some really good depth coming through. It’s definitely strong from the ground up. The foundations all across the board are set for a great future, the future is very bright.
“We were quietly confident that we were going to be competitive across the board and we have proved it, which is really good.”
Moama had individual players fare well at the league awards ceremony too, with netballers Georgina Crowe and Diaz Agg as well as footballer Jobe Shanahan all finishing as runners-up in the best-and-fairests in their category.
