Echuca started the better of the two teams with a 10-6 first term before Euroa responded strongly to draw back within a goal at half-time.
After a dead-locked third quarter, the Pies showed their class in the final term to run away with a thrilling 34-32 win.
Ash Mangan and Raina Fimmel were pivotal for Echuca while Kellie Davidson and Tylah Marchbank led the Pies assault.
But also among the Murray Bombers best was Lauren Jones, who toiled hard in game 250.
The five-time GVL premier has been a stalwart of the league since beginning her career with Kyabram in 2006, tasting the ultimate league glory with flags in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017 as well as several representative clashes for the GVL.
Jones crossed over to Echuca in 2021 and since then has been a pivotal part of the Murray Bombers squad, including this year as Echuca primes for finals.
The result at the weekend has seen Euroa jump to top spot, while Echuca now finds itself two games outside the top two.
The Murray Bombers face Benalla this week.
