Echuca United also suffered defeats against Rumbalara, losing a nail-biting football clash 9.12 (66) to 10.5 (65) and A-grade netball 63-40.
Tongala was the only Murray league club to taste victory and it won both clashes against Numurkah, 10.10 (70) to 10.6 (66) in football and 70-31 in netball.
Heathcote District Football Netball League saw two local sides in Leitchville-Gunbower and Lockington-Bamawm United meet and the Bombers swept the Cats at Leitchville Recreation Reserve.
