The global day aims to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
On March 1, Committee for Echuca Moama’s International Women’s Day event gives people the chance to come together and recognise women from across the region.
The district event will be hosted by C4EM chief executive Jayden Howe and will include a dynamic panel discussion, including Jacqui Starritt, Fran Galvin, Liz Spicer and Kathy Kostoglou.
The four women will all feature in C4EM’s A Snapshot in Time book which will be launched later this year.
‘’Following on from last year’s booked out event, this year is another fantastic opportunity to pay tribute to some of the inspiring women of Echuca-Moama,’’ Mr Howe said.
‘‘I’m looking forward to connecting, learning and celebrating the strength of the women in our community.’’
International Women’s Day is on Sunday, March 1, from 12.30pm to 3pm at Rich River Golf Club’s Tatalia Room.
It will include a complimentary drink, two-course lunch, lucky door prizes and giveaways.
Tickets are $45 or $35 for Seniors/Concession and can be booked via https://tinyurl.com/4f8n84zt
