THE Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) mobile COVID-19 testing clinic will visit the region again this week.
The clinic is available at Barham Hospital on Thursday, September 3 from noon to 3.30pm and at 6 Meninya St, Moama on Friday, September 4 from 8.30am to12.30pm.
Anyone with even the mildest of symptoms should be tested.
Last week, MLHD reached a milestone of 50,000 tests completed.
MLHD chief executive Jill Ludford praised the community for coming forward to be tested.
“Testing enables us to identify cases early so we can contain the virus and prevent outbreaks occurring,” she said.
Ms Ludford also made special mention of the mobile clinic teams, who have ventured out on the cold winter mornings and set up their pop-up clinics to provide access to testing for local communities.
“Having a range of testing options available means that residents from across the District are able to be tested as soon as possible after symptoms appear,” said Ms Ludford.
