ECHUCA Moama Tourism and Murray Regional Tourism are calling on local businesses to tell their story.
With the border closure having a devastating impact on local business, the groups are asking for the industry to show the full extent the closure is having.
All operators are being encouraged to fill out a survey on the impacts on their business provided by the industry group.
EMT chief executive Kathryn Mackenzie said it was essential to have as much information as possible.
“Echuca Moama and District Tourism Association in conjunction with Murray Regional Tourism is advocating to all levels of government on your behalf,” she wrote in an email.“To do this it is important to develop a sound business case outlining the impact of the closure of the Victorian border on Echuca Moama and surrounding towns.“I encourage all operators from both Echuca and Moama and surrounding towns to take five minutes to fill in the questionnaire and return by Friday, January 15.”
