Residents, visitors enjoy an afternoon of entertainment

Residents and visitors enjoyed a warm afternoon of fun, music and fundraising at a recent event.

The Wharparilla Lodge Auxiliary held a fundraiser for the lodge, raising $1459 for the afternoon.

The popular Locky Ukers kicked off the afternoon, with the audience getting involved.

A musical segment with Darryl George on the saxophone and vocals, accompanied by Margaret Munro, followed.

A segment on the place of op shops in our community was introduced by Sage Wiltshire from Epicentre.

A parade of outfits from the Anglican Op shop and Epicentre showed what was available.

A Devonshire tea was enjoyed by 140 people to wrap up the enjoyable afternoon.

The was a great event, with the auxiliary and friends supporting each other in the Cunningham Downs community.
