More than 270 people attended the first GV Home Energy Expo on Sunday, June 14 at the McIntosh Centre at Shepparton Showgrounds.

The event featured 16 exhibitors and six expert speakers, who provided advice on energy efficiency, electrification, solar, batteries and electric vehicles.
Greater Shepparton City Council manager environment Sharon Terry said exhibitors and speakers reported positive conversations throughout the day.
“The panel discussions and presentations helped cut through complexity and answered many of the common questions people have about home energy efficiency, electrification and renewable energy,” she said.
The event featured guest speaker Geoff Lodge, who shared practical insights on improving energy efficiency and reducing household costs.
Council has expressed its thanks to all exhibitors, speakers and community members who contributed to the success of the event.
