From the opening bounce, the Bloods were relentless.
The home side exploded out of the blocks, piling on nine unanswered goals in a breathtaking first quarter that immediately set the tone for the afternoon.
Their pressure around the contest, slick ball movement and willingness to work for one another had Rennie under enormous pressure from the outset.
If the first quarter was impressive, the second was equally dominant.
Tocumwal added another eight goals before halftime, with the midfield completely controlling the game and the forwards capitalising on almost every opportunity.
The crowd was treated to fast, attacking football as the Bloods moved the ball with confidence and precision.
There was no let-up after the main break, either.
Tocumwal continued to attack with purpose, adding another nine goals in the third quarter, before finishing strongly with six more in the final term to complete one of the club’s most dominant displays in recent memory.
The victory marked Tocumwal’s second consecutive win heading into the bye and highlighted a side beginning to build strong momentum and belief.
Brayden Hall was unstoppable up forward, finishing with a brilliant eight-goal haul in one of the best performances of the season.
Captain Jack Tyndall and Liam Sutton were equally influential with five goals each, while Max O’Neil added three in a lively display.
Ricky Gittens, Sam Decicco, Hayden Davis and exciting young debutant Harrison Wilson all kicked multiple goals, with Chase Hardwidge, Sam Hatty and Harry Jenner also hitting the scoreboard in a complete team performance.
Across the ground, Tocumwal had winners everywhere.
Ricky Gittens was outstanding with his class and work rate, while Sam Decicco continued his strong form around the contest.
Brayden Hall was electric in attack, Kyle Maher provided plenty of drive through the midfield, and Charles Locke and Harry Jenner were influential contributors throughout the afternoon.
One of the highlights of the day came before the opening bounce, with young local talent Harrison Wilson making his senior debut for the club.
In a proud family moment, his uncle and Tocumwal captain Jack Tyndall presented him with his senior jumper in front of family, friends and teammates.
Wilson showed composure beyond his years and capped off a memorable debut with two goals, giving supporters a glimpse of what promises to be a very bright future.
Importantly, the performance was built on more than just scoreboard dominance.
Every player embraced their role, worked hard defensively and celebrated each other’s success, creating a genuine team-first performance that had coaches and supporters thrilled.
Heading into the bye, Tocumwal has every reason to feel excited.
The Bloods are playing with confidence, energy and connection, and if recent performances are anything to go by, supporters have much to look forward to in the second half of the season.

Fourths
Our fourths came up against the top side this week, with both teams heading into the match undefeated at five wins and zero losses.
Rennie were a much bigger and more experienced side and showed why they are one of the benchmark teams of the competition.
While our boys found it tough to match up physically and struggled to get the scoreboard ticking over, they never stopped competing and continued to work hard right until the final siren.
Despite the result, there was plenty to like about the effort and determination shown, with the boys able to restrict Rennie to eleven goals across the day.
