Girls United for skills day

Jasmine Hartshorn, Olivia Ridge, Chloe Reynolds, Charlie McLeod, Ruby Farrar and Billie McLeod took on the clinic.

Local girls got an opportunity to learn basketball or hone their skills as NBL franchise Melbourne United ran its ‘United for Her’ clinic in Echuca on Wednesday.

Echuca Stadium hosted the clinic, which included a come and try introductory session for girls 6-11, before a higher level skill development clinic for girls 12-18.

The day had a great turnout with about 50 players taking on the come and try sessions.
