Following on from the recent Northern Association Championships, Georgia Danckert, Meg Meharry and Lilly Boyer were all selected through Netball Victoria's Talent Identification Program.
This honour is awarded to players who demonstrate outstanding skill, game awareness, athletic ability and potential throughout the championships.

As a result of their selection, the girls will now progress to the next stage of the talent pathway, where they will attend their region's trials.
After the trials, 25-35 athletes from each region will be selected to participate in the 2027 Talent Academy Program.
The Talent Academy is delivered over a five-month period and includes a combination of specialist full-day training and region-based training sessions, providing athletes with the opportunity to further develop their skills under the guidance of Netball Victoria's high-performance coaching staff.
At the conclusion of the program, players compete in the Inter Academy Tournament, which serves as the first step in the selection process for the Netball Victoria 17 & under state team.

“It also reflects the strength of the DNA Representative Program and the quality coaching and support provided to its athletes.
“DNA congratulates Georgia, Meg and Lilly on this outstanding achievement and wishes them every success as they continue their netball journey.
“Their selection is a proud moment for themselves, their families and the entire DNA community, and everyone at DNA looks forward to following their progress through the Netball Victoria talent pathway.”
The next stage of trials will be held in Bendigo, in November.
