The Redeyes had no response for a rampaging Blues lineup, Picola powering to a 59-16 win.
The tone was set early on, as the visitors jumped to a 13-3 advantage by quarter time, and Picola continued to push the pace in the second, the game effectively over by the half at 27-9.
The Blues strengthened their lead even further with a 16-2 third period before rounding out the game in the fourth to win by a massive 43 goals.
Picola now sits in third place, among four 4-0 sides, but will be mindful that all four victories have come against sides currently in the bottom six.
The competition ramps up somewhat this Saturday, when the Blues host the 2-2 Jerilderie at Picola Recreation Reserve.
Mathoura vs Waaia
The Timbercutters travelled to Waaia, one of the league leaders so far, and the game followed the form book.
Mathoura was well beaten at both ends of the court, going down 50-15 and falling to an 0-4 season record.
The Cutters are particularly searching for answers offensively, having scored a league-worst 76 goals so far, putting them at the base of the ladder on differential.
Another challenging fixture awaits, with the 3-1 Dookie United visiting Mathoura Recreation Reserve this Saturday.
